Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah, an Indian actor and singer, is best known for her work in Tamil and Malayalam films. Her first appearance as an actor was in the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam, and her Malayalam d but with Annayum Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah is from an Anglo-Indian origin. She was the daughter of a Madras High Court attorney. Also, she has one younger sister, who is currently working as a research assistant in Leuven Belgium. Jeremiah, who was born in Chennai was a student at Chennai National Public School. He graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea was an eight-year-old classical pianist who was also extremely geeky. She joined The Jackson Five style troupe Young Stars when she was 10. It was this group that shaped the foundation for her music and singing career. She was an actor at her school and took part in several productions in the form of The Madras Players, EVAM and other theatre groups. She served as President of the Women's College's Student Senate. Andrea started her career in theatre with Girish Karanad's Nagamandala. In 2006, she starred in a leo commercial along with actor Shiva. She also acted in a TV serial that was telecast on Podhigai.
