Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss has been a country music star for more than 30 years. Her birthplace was in Decatur, Illinois on the 23rd July 1971. LeAnn Kymes, as well as Krauss, were amongst the Grammy Award winners who were among the youngest. Alison Maria Krauss was born in July of 1971. Alison is an American bluegrass singer and country musician. Alison Maria Krauss started her musical career early and was a winner of local contests by the age of 10. Her first recording was her first recording at the age fourteen. The year 1987 was when she released her solo debut album after signing with Rounder Records. The band invited her to join the group with which she still performs Alison Krauss and Union Station and later released her first album as a group in the year 1989.
